OUR STORY
Superior Flooring has been delivering quality results since we opened in 1968 in Wilmington, Ohio.
We have been family owned & locally operated since then, and we are a proud supporter of the community we are lucky enough to serve.
Superior Carpet opened in 1968 by George “Bill” Day, in Wilmington, Ohio shortly after returning from the Vietnam War and a brief tenure teaching at West Point.
Bill ran and operated Superior Carpet and Captain Steamer for more than 30 years, while his son Brad Day worked with him and learned the industry.
In 2005 – Superior Carpet was renamed Superior Flooring to accommodate to all flooring types.
In 2009 – Brad Day took over as Owner and Operator with over 35 years of experience running commercial and residential projects.
Superior Flooring has been in busy over 50 years now and has managed to weather through a series of economical hardships because we are lucky enough to serve a great community and have some amazing customers.
